12. List: If you have used Facebook's Friends List feature, you can select the list here. Only people in the list will see the album. To create a list of friends, go to your Facebook home page (the page with your Newsfeed, not your Profile page) and click the "Lists" option in the left menu.

If you want to hide pics that are in your Profile Photos or Cover Photos Album, add them to a Facebook private album and then delete them from the public album.

A shared album is any album in which you had named certain people as contributors when you had set up the album. Only the creator of a shared album can manage its privacy settings. The process for adjusting the privacy settings for a shared album is the same as any other album, except that the options are slightly different.

To make a single photo on Facebook private, follow these steps:

1. Go to your profile, scroll down till you see the Photos button, and tap it to view your Facebook photos. Then, select the photo you want to make private. Click the three dots in the top right corner.
2. Select Edit privacy.
