Do you offer monthly plans? Can I subscribe for just one month?

We do not offer monthly plans. You can either subscribe for one year to create an unlimited number of polls or purchase a single Premium poll. We priced our annual plans so that it is well worth your money even if you only use your subscription for a month or two.

Where can I find my purchase receipt? Can I edit the billing address?

As the account owner, you can download the receipt from your Account page. You can also edit the billing address and add more information such as a VAT number in the billing address field.

Will my subscription renew automatically?

If you subscribe to an annual plan then your subscription is set to renew automatically by default. You will receive a reminder email one week prior to the renewal. You can turn off automatic renewal from your Account page.

What are the limitations of the free plan?

You can view a maximum of 40 answers with the free plan. All subsequent answers (41+) will be locked and viewed with a Premium plan only.

Why was my credit card declined?

Banks don't give details as to why they decline to process a payment. Their system can flag a transaction as a potential risk because we are based in Canada and that does not fit with your purchasing habits. You can either call your bank and ask them to authorize the transaction or you can try a different credit card. We can also send you a PayPal invoice if you request it.

Managing Polls

Can I add multiple admins to my account?

If you subscribed to the Enterprise plan, you can invite up to 10 colleagues to manage the account. For other plans, polls can be created and edited by one user only. You can however share the results of any poll with trusted colleagues by clicking the Share Results button on the Results page.

Can I transfer my Premium account to another person?

Yes! You can transfer your Premium account to another Facebook user through your Account Page.

Are polls, contests, and quizzes different offerings?

Yes, we offer three different apps to create polls, contests, and quizzes respectively. You can subscribe to each app separately or subscribe to the Enterprise plan which lets you create polls, contests and quizzes from the same account. Learn more about the differences between each app.

Creating Polls

How can I add terms and conditions to my poll? Do you offer templates?

If your terms are not too long, you can paste them directly in the introduction or footer text of your poll. Otherwise you can create a PDF file with the terms and link it to your poll. We don't offer templates or legal advice.

Publishing Polls

How can I link a poll to my Facebook Page?

You can link a poll to any Facebook Page that you manage from the Share section. Please see this detailed tutorial for more information.

Can I require users to like my Page or share my poll to be eligible for a promotion?

No. Facebook Policies strictly prohibits incentivizing participants to like a Page, share a post or tag a friend to be eligible for a promotion. You can however give participants the option to like your Page and increase their chances of winning when they refer a friend to the poll.

Can I publish my poll to a Facebook Group or other social platforms?

There is no direct integration for Groups. You can however copy your Share URL (in the Share section) and paste it in a post on your group's Timeline. Same goes for other social platforms, including Twitter and Instagram.

Can the Poll app help me reach a specific audience or demographic?

The Poll app gives you the tools to share polls with your fans and friends but cannot help you target a specific audience. For this, we recommend that you create a Facebook promoted post or ad. Note that polls are public and opened to everybody. They cannot be geographically restricted.

Answering Polls

Can participants answer the poll directly from the Facebook Newsfeed?

It is not technically possible to display a form directly on the Facebook Newsfeed. Participants need to click on the post link and are taken to the poll page to fill-in the form. However we also offer Comments voting that lets you set up a poll post where participants answer with a comment.

Do users need a Facebook account to participate?

Users do not need a Facebook account to participate. However in some rare cases, a user might be asked to log in and authorize the app. This is required when the system detects a user might have already participated in the past. Learn more on how we protect your polls from cheaters.

How do you prevent cheaters from submitting multiple votes?

Our system uses many data points and techniques such as cookies, IP addresses, unique Facebook IDs and captchas to ensure that your poll's results are not rigged. There is no restriction for account admins, they can participate multiple times. Learn more on how we protect your polls from cheaters.

Poll Results

Are polls results public?

All results are private by default. You can make results public from the Advanced Options of the Configuration section of your poll. Participants will then see the aggregated results in a bar chart on the thank you page. Learn more about the best ways to share your poll's results.

What kind of dashboards, analytics and stats do you provide?

We are always improving the app and the different ways we display the results. We encourage you to see it for yourself by creating a free test poll.

What information is collected from participants Facebook profiles?

No information is collected from participants' Facebook profiles. You can ask participants to fill-in their names and emails by checking the option in the Configuration section. We collect basic location information (country and state) based on the IP address of each participant.

Do you have an API that can be used to export participants data?

There is no API but you can export all participants data and their associated answers to an Excel spreadsheet. The spreadsheet can then be imported in your CRM software.

Can I retarget the poll's participants with Facebook ads?

You can set a Facebook pixel ID from your Account Page and create a custom audience to target ads to polls participants. Learn more about the Facebook pixel.

How do I see the results of my poll on Facebook?

To view responses to your poll ad: Select a time range for your poll results. In the Interactivity results section, choose either Facebook Mobile Feed or Instagram Stories to see the results for each placement. View the total reach, total number of poll responses and the breakdown for each answer.

How do I see my poll results on Facebook after 24 hours?

You can view them from your Story Archive, click on your profile picture then select story then go its archive.

How do I change my poll settings on Facebook?

You can edit the text of a poll until people start voting. To edit a poll you created before people have started voting, click , then Edit post. Poll creators and group admins can add or delete poll options anytime. Only group members and admins can vote on polls.

Does Facebook still have polls 2022?

Yes, you can still create a Poll on Facebook. This useful feature allows users to get real-time opinion from their friends and followers, helping them to make decisions or gather feedback quickly.
