Jimbobothy , 20 Jul 2022Look up “how to get play store on blackberry classic”You will not get Blackberry Store working. They shut the servers down. Only option is to try sideloading .bar files (possibly) and downloading .apk files.

In 2022, you are very limited to what you can use/do.

I honestly don't know who would bother spending $50 on these in Feb 2022. You can get the likes of Nexus 5x's, iPhone SE's and even BlackBerry Privs in some cases that will ACTUALLY function as a smartphone in that price range.

I am going to buy it, please suggest meNot particularly, WhatsApp, Spotify, Telegram work but Apps like FB Lite, Instagram, Tiktok, and more don't work at all. You can force a version of FB Lite on this phone as I did with some version tweaking and time but as the 2GB of ram for this phone is more than inadequate it doesn't cache your account so you have to login every time you open and close it. You would also need to find one pre-setup as BlackberryID no longer works and it's a key part to set up the phone and there are currently no ways to bypass it. I would honestly recommend another phone to save your soul/sanity. A keyone, Priv or Keytwo will do you just fine. The reason these are so cheap is because they're old business phones none wants anymore.

Although this phone is amazingly built and looks quite cool it would be outright stupid to purchase one of these in 2022. As BlackberryID has been shut down, you can no longer set it up. The Phone is slow and even with a 3rd party web browser (KiwiBrowser) it still struggles enormously - even browsing something light like The Guardian. App support is long gone on this device no matter what other people tell you. The only "working" apps you can get on here are Whatsapp and older Spotify. Keep in mind the last version of Blackberry 10 is based on Android 4.3. It's cool for a collector's item or even basic phone calls and texts but that will start to get difficult soon when more providers shut off 3G as this doesn't have LTE. Unforchinatly, us Berryheads will have to look to the blackberry priv and up as no BlackberryID makes it practiclly useless like iCloud lock on an iPhone does.

Phone is pretty much useless for daily driving though.

Will the BlackBerry Classic work in 2022?

As of January 4, 2022, all classic BlackBerry smartphones running versions of BlackBerry OS will no longer work for calls, text messages, data, and emergency functionality, essentially making them unusable.

How do I download Facebook on my BlackBerry?

It's easy, but you need to set up your mobile phone for internet and activate a BlackBerry ID before you can download and install Facebook..
Slide your finger left on the display to open the main menu. ... .
                                          Tap Search..
Key in Facebook and tap Search..
                                          Tap Facebook..
                                          Tap Download..

How do I install apps on my BlackBerry Classic?

                                          Download apps & games.
The BlackBerry World provides access to the latest apps, games, and more to all BlackBerry ID holders. ... .
From the home screen, tap BlackBerry World..
                                          Tap the Search icon..
Enter the desired search term, then press the Return key..
Scroll to, then tap the desired result..
                                          Tap Download..
                                          Tap Open..

Does Facebook still work on BlackBerry?

No, we no longer support messaging for BlackBerry. This means you can't send or receive messages on the Messenger app or Facebook app on your BlackBerry phone. To continue to send and receive messages on your BlackBerry, you can use the mobile web version of Facebook at m.facebook.com/messages. Was this helpful?
