Nilai Tukar Dolar Amerika Serikat Terhadap 6 Mata Uang Utama Dunia (31 Des 2021 – 21 Sep 2022)

Nilai tukar dolar Amerika Serikat (AS) kembali terapresiasi terhadap mata uang utama dunia. Bank sentral AS (Federal Reserve/The Fed) menaikkan lagi suku bunga acuannya sebesar 75 basis points (bps) kembali memicu penguatan dolar AS.

Berdasarkan data Yahoo Finance, indeks dolar AS ditutup naik 0,42 poin persentase (0,38%) ke level 110,64 pada perdagangan Rabu (21/9/2022) dibandingkan penutupan sehari sebelumnya.

Dari 6 mata uang utama dunia, mata uang Jepang yen terdepresiasi paling dalam terhadap dolar AS, yakni sebesar 24,87% ke level 143,6 per dolar AS pada 21 September 2022 dibanding posisi akhir tahun lalu (year to date/ytd).

Berikutnya, mata uang Swedia Krona melemah terhadap dolar AS sebesar 20,39% (ytd) menjadi 10,89 per dolar AS. Lalu mata uang Inggris poundsterling juga melemah 15,68% (ytd) ke posisi 1,1381 dolar AS, dan mata uang Uni Eropa euro terdepresiasi 11,96% (ytd) ke posisi 0,9971 dolar AS.

Demikian pula mata uang Swiss Franc juga melemah 5,47% (ytd) ke posisi 0,9637 dolar AS, serta mata uang dolar Kanada terdepresisasi 4,86% (ytd) ke level 1,3363 per dolar AS.

Sebagai informasi sepanjang periode Maret hingga September 2022, The Fed telah menaikkan suku bunga acuannya sebesar 300 bps ke level 3,25%. Hal ini yang membuat dolar AS digdaya terhadap mata uang dunia.
