I don’t know the history, but is there any way Adam could be Faith’s bio dad? It’s really weird they have the same rare blood type.

No unless they rewrite history. Not possible to be her dad.

Long time viewers have posted that Sharon slept with Nick, Jack and one other guy all within 24 hours of each other when Faith was conceived. Adam wasn’t one of them.

So poor Faith really comes from mixed blood! No wonder it’s rare.

The three tested were her husband at the time, Jack; her bro-in-law, Billy; & hound dog Nick.

They are still related through Victor. He is her biological uncle. It seemed weirder to me that of all the people (including relatives) tested, Summer was the perfect donor for Lola’s liver.

All in 2 days… so ewwwww… 3 men in 2 days is pretty gross… but there were also the faceless business men and they should have been tested too… she was sleazing out at that time.

I don’t think Adam would have given Faith away if there were any chance he was her daddy. They just both have Newman DNA, He & Nick are half-brothers after all.

I’d be fine with it but its not possible so I doubt it.

I suppose it is possible. Sharon not only slept with Billy, Jack and Nick, but numerous nameless men around that time. I think her BPD caused her to be a nympho or hooker or something like that. I can’t remember the actual reasoning why the BPD was the cause, but whatever.

Adam could easily have been one of those nameless and faceless men, I suppose.

he might have been but he never had an interaction with sharon. when he realized what he did to ashley, and saw a pregnant sharon, he set his plan in motion to steal her child.

Sharon had a paternity test done but she was the only one who saw the results. She said it was Nick and was believed. Only a rewrite of history would make Adam Faith’s father. It’s just a plot point that only he was a match to donate a kidney.

No, this is not going to be the case. Nick is Faith’s father.

Pretend that “very rare blood type” is O-, the most unfortunate blood type to have, because you can only receive transfusions of O- and nothing else. The trait for O is recessive and the trait for Rh negative is recessive. For Faith to have this blood type, both Sharon and Nick would have to carry both recessive traits and pass them to Faith. And for Adam to have this blood type, both Victor and Hope would have to carry both recessive traits and pass them to Adam. So you can see how both Adam and Faith could have the same “very rare blood type” without Adam being Faith’s father.

Faith was born to Nicholas and Sharon Newman, although while pregnant, Sharon briefly lied to Nick that the child she was carrying was Jack Abbott's. Sharon, who had been suffering from blackouts, gave birth to her daughter in the same psych ward where Ashley Abbott was admitted. Adam Newman, having caused Ashley to miscarry, but still allowing her to believe she was pregnant, snatched the newborn and gave her to Ashley, while Nick and Sharon were told their child was stillborn. Phyllis's suspicions later resulted in Ashley agreeing to a DNA test, which revealed the truth and Faith was reunited with her parents.

Sharon later fell in love with Adam, which prompted Nick to sue for full custody, though he wasn't successful until Sharon was charged with the murder of Skye Lockhart. Things improved between Nick and Sharon and they later agreed on joint custody, but Nick once again ended up with full custody after it came out that Sharon had tampered with Summer's DNA test results.

Faith has survived a lot of ups and downs in the Newman family, and hasn't always been a fan of her parents' new loves, though came to love, and later lose, stepfather Dylan McAvoy when he was forced to leave Sharon to go into the Witness Protection Program. Faith survived the Newman Towers fire, and the revelation that her half brother Sully was actually her half brother Christian. Faith has lived with her grandparents, Nikki and Victor Newman, and recently was disturbed to learn that her father had moved them from the ranch and into the penthouse with Chelsea Newman.

Adam has done a lot of terrible things to a lot of people over the years on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS but it’s what he did to Faith that has caused a lot of drama on the soap recently. The incident in question happened way back when Faith was an infant, so it’s understandable if some viewers might need a bit of a refresher on the details. And that’s exactly where we come in!

After an exposé was published detailing Adam Newman’s misdeeds, one in particular stirred up some trouble. The story of Adam kidnapping Faith Newman years ago caused the teen to become the target for online bullying. But that particular storyline unfolded back in 2009 when Faith had just been born and she was just a pawn in Adam’s twisted scheme.

Adam had been gaslighting Ashley Abbott and after she fell down the stairs and miscarried her unborn child, he convinced her she had only dreamt it and blackmailed her doctor into telling her she was still pregnant. Ashley was then committed to a psychiatric hospital where a pregnant Sharon Newman was also staying. When Sharon went into labor, Adam stole her baby and gave her to Ashley, who believed it was her own. Sharon was heartbroken to believe her baby had died due to complications and Ashley began raising what she believed was her daughter. Originally planning to name her Hope, Ashley changed it to Faith, not realizing it was what Sharon and Nick were going to call their little girl.

Guilt tied Adam to Sharon and they began a relationship as she dismissed everyone’s warnings about the guy. When Sharon’s home burned down, Ashley invited them to come and stay with her which led to Sharon beginning to connect with her daughter, not realizing Faith’s true identity. Thankfully, Nick Newman and Phyllis Summers started digging and discovered Adam’s blackmail of the doctor, uncovering a note from Dr. Taylor that revealed the truth.

After a DNA test was done, Faith was proven to be Nick and Sharon’s daughter, and Ashley tearfully handed the baby over. And while Faith was too young at the time to know what was happening to her, when the crime was brought up again years later, it reopened old wounds and caused all kinds of new drama.
