To turn on Admin notifications for Facebook group from a laptop/desktop, please follow these steps:
1. Open your Facebook group. Under your Facebook group cover photo, you’ll see the ‘Joined’ button. Tap on the drop down arrow given alongside it.
2. Select ‘Manage notifications’ and a dialog box containing notification settings will pop up.
3. You can choose to receive notifications for all posts, highlights, friends’ posts, or turn them off altogether. When you do that, you’re notified only of the important mentions and updates to group settings or privacy.
Go down below and you can choose to/not to receive notifications for member requests to join the group by simply toggling the button given beside it.
At last, hit ‘save’.
Here’s how to receive Facebook group Notifications from mobile:
1. Tap on the star icon you see on the top right corner of your group’s home page.
2. A list of admin tools will appear. Select ‘Personal Settings’.
3. A pop up showing multiple options in ‘your settings’ will appear. Choose ‘Manage notifications’.
4. From here you can choose to receive:
a. In-app notifications (the notifications/ messages user gets while they’re browsing an app)
either for :
- all posts done in the group
- highlights, i.e. friends’ posts and suggested posts
- only your friends’ posts
Or you can choose to turn these notifications off. When you do so, you’ll be notified of only mentions and important updates to your group settings or privacy.
b. Push notifications (The notifications you get on your mobile device)
You can choose to get notifications of highlights i.e. suggested posts or turn them off.
c. Member request notifications
You can choose to turn on/ off member request notifications
d. Pending post notifications
You can turn on/ off notifications for whenever members submit posts for approval in the group.
How to Stop Group Notifications on Facebook?
Managing a community is indeed tough. It’s natural for you to feel overwhelmed seeing hundreds and thousands of notifications each day.
That said, you can turn off your group notifications anytime you feel like and here’s how to turn off notification on facebook groups?
1. Open your Facebook group. Under your Facebook group cover photo, you’ll see the ‘Joined’ button. Tap on the drop down arrow given alongside it and select ‘Manage notifications’.
2. A dialog box containing notification settings will pop up. Select ‘Off’ and hit save.
When you do, all incoming group notifications will be silenced and you’ll be notified of only important updates and changes to group privacy.

How to turn on Facebook group push notifications for all posts in 2022?
As of yet, there’s no way you can turn on Facebook group push notifications for all posts. However, you can choose to receive push notifications for group highlights.
To do the same:
1. Open the group on your mobile and tap on the star icon you see on the top right corner of your group’s home page. A list of admin tools will appear. Select ‘Personal Settings’.
2. A pop up showing multiple options in ‘your settings’ will appear. Choose ‘Manage notifications’.
3. Under push notifications, select ‘highlights’ and you’ll start receiving notifications for all imp things.
Facebook group members not getting notifications. Why?
If your Facebook group members are not getting notifications, it’s probably because the in-app notifications and push notifications for that group are turned off.
Here’s how members can start receiving notifications for Facebook group:
1. Open the group on mobile and tap on the three horizontal dots on the top right corner of the group and select ‘notification settings’.
2. Go ahead and choose what notifications you would like to receive, i.e. all posts, highlights, or friends’ posts.
