How to use distillate syringe reddit

Hey guys, I have a friend who gave me a ton of these but I only ever smoke spliffs. How do I get the most use of these? They look to be fairly expensive.

Should I dab it? Eat it? Both? Personal preference?

I need some advice! I know you're supposed to heat it up, so I did (soaked it in hot water for at least 3 minutes if I remember correctly) and it did come out some, very viscous and sticky still, but definitely liquid. I tried to get it to break off under my tongue, accidentally touched my tooth, it glued on there so hard I had to brush it off, ruining my toothbrush in the process lol, and I just moved on with my life because I was too frustrated to troubleshoot, especially after reading a million guides on how to do it.

Am I not heating it long enough? How do you get it to drop under your tongue? Should I just like wipe(??) it on a piece of food or candy then eat that and just accept it'll take a while to hit unlike sublingually?

I just started using cannabis and live in an illegal state, this guy my friend hooked me up with has a menu with ‘distillate syringe 1g’ on it, is that for vaping? Would a vape good for liquid and oil work with that? Thanks friends

I bought some matrix distillate from Grass Chief and they came in shorter glass syringes rather than the plastic ones. It also came with a metal tip. I’m not sure how to properly open the end to install the tip to fill my Vape710 carts
