Setting up the PS5 camera is a fairly straightforward process but there are a couple of pitfalls you want to avoid. Here's what you need to know to physically install your PlayStation 5 camera.
Take the PS5 camera out of its packaging.
Note:
There's no need to assemble the base as it's ready assembled. Remember to remove all plastic protective packaging around the camera lens.
Plug the USB cable into the back of the PlayStation 5 console.
Note:
Only the back USB sockets work with the PS5 camera. The front USB socket won't recognize the camera.
Place the camera in front of your TV in a central location.
Move the cables behind your console and TV so it looks neater.

Tap the Create button on the PS5 controller.

The Create button is between the d-pad and the touchpad.
Click Broadcast.
Click the three-dot (More) icon.
Click Broadcast Options.
Click Display Camera.
The camera is now displayed in the middle left corner of the screen. You can move it around with the d-pad to find a better location for your stream.
Click X to agree to its placement.
Click Go Live to start the stream.
